At the recent Steering Ctee meeting reference was made to how RiXML files should relate to their PDF equivalents, and how both should be handled during the authoring process. Research producers may be interested to know that according to an Adobe press relase of 15 July 2003 "The new XML/PDF form designer software builds on Adobe's XML architecture (see news release dated April 7, 2003) that supports end-to-end document processes. It provides all the capabilities needed to design forms with precision, including the ability to easily define business logic and incorporate existing or user-defined XML schemas".
